Gospel artist Todd Dulaney announced today that the “King Solomon Lives” musical he was starring in has been canceled.  Dulaney was starring alongside Jordin Sparks in the musical.

Dulaney broke the news on his new website:

Hey family, I regret to inform you that the wonderful stage play “King Solomon Lives” has been cancelled.

I know many of you were looking forward to my stage play acting debut along side Jordin Sparks but it will have to wait.

Please contact Ticketmaster for refunds.

The play, which had Sparks playing Queen Sheba and Delaney portraying King Solomon had just made its debut in Los Angeles, California, Mother’s Day weekend.

This is sad news, I was looking forward to seeing these two on stage together.

No word on why the play was canceled.
