At least four people were killed when an avalanche hit a ski resort in eastern France, according to local rescue services. Nine people were initially buried in the snow when the disastrous avalanche hit the Tignes resort about 11 a.m. local time. At least two people have been pulled out alive so far; three others are still missing.
