A ministry-focused Christian chef is using her platform and gifts to help youth get back on the right track.
Food Network star Ayesha Curry, wife of Stephen Curry, Golden State Warriors MVP, lent her chef skills to The Imagine Bus Project to benefit incarcerated youth, and youth impacted by the juvenile justice system.
Along with Chef Michael Mina’s team, the Christian author of the best-selling cookbook The Seasoned Life, helped prepare a charity dinner for the organization over the weekend, which, according to Curry’s Instagram page, was “a success.”
The Imagination Bus Project, which uses art and self-expression to enable young people facing juvenile detention in Sonoma, San Francisco and San Mateo counties to successfully re-enter their communities and find a path to a fulfilling future, relies on donations to continue its work.
With the help of charitable individuals like 27-year-old Curry, who love giving back to great causes, the organization is able to meet its annual budget.
