With a global vision and mission to create a safe space for all God’s people our Presiding Prelate Bishop Oliver Clyde Allen III established the United Progressive Pentecostal Church Fellowship, Annual National Holy Convocation to unite men and women from across the nation to train the present and next generation of leaders with a Kingdom assignment.
Organizationally, we seek to progressively serve the body of Christ with a focus and mission committed to excellence, social justice for all people and righteousness for global impact. There is no better place to be other than Atlanta, Georgia June 21st- 26th to experience to next dimension of worship, praise, teaching and gospel preaching.
Oliver Clyde Allen, who is an active member of The Presidential Advisory Council on HIV/AIDS (PACHA), was recently appointed by the Democratic National Committee to serve as Regional Chair of the DNC-LGBT Advisory Board (Southeast Region).
On Thursday, Oliver Clyde Allen reported that he was at the White House LGBT reception with President Obama. He is married to Rashad Burgess. They are the parents of 2 children, Joshua and Caylee. In 2013, Bishop Allen and his family made history by being the first same gender loving couple to be selected as one of Ebony Magazine’s “top 10 Coolest Black Families” in America. In 2014, Bishop Allen was inducted into the prestigious Martin Luther King Jr. International Board of Preachers, Scholars and Sponsors of Morehouse College.
