Actor, Hugh Jackman is talking about his faith as he prepares to play one of the most well-known characters from the Bible and early church.
After playing significant roles in movies like Wolverine and Les Miserables, Jackman is set to play St. Paul the Apostle in an upcoming film.
“I am a Christian,” he says in an interview with Jesus Daily.
The film, Apostle Paul, is suspected to depict Paul’s conversion, ministry, and imprisonment.
The movie will be produced by Jackman along with Matt Damon and Ben Affleck with screenplay currently being written by Matt Cook.
Jackman reportedly says he used to attend different evangelists revival tents when he was younger and that acting gives him a sense of peace.
“When I was about 13, I had a weird premonition that I was going to be on-stage, like the preachers I saw.”
