Tonya Couch, the mother of “affluenza” teen Ethan Couch, was indicted Thursday on two charges, according to reports.
According to WFFA, a grand jury in Tarrant County indicted Tonya Couch on a charge of hindering apprehension and a charge of money laundering. The mother helped her son flee to Mexico while he was on probation for a fatal drunk driving wreck in 2013 that killed four people. Tonya Couch is accused of laundering $30,000 to finance the trip to Mexico.
The mother and son were found by U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force late last year in Mexico.
