In between celebrating her birthday this past weekend with a bunch of festivities in Atlanta, Kelly Price set out time to introduce her new foundation, “Look 2 Live,” at a launch brunch hosted at T.I.’s restaurant, Scales 925.

Ten years in the works, “Look 2 Live” was created by Price to support the families of any type of cancer patient, so that they remain strong enough to see their loved one through their diagnosis.

Her passion comes from experience.

In the late 90s, Price’s biological mother was diagnosed with breast cancer and her mother-in-law passed from it. She’s since donated to countless breast cancer foundations for cancer and research and even started her own foundation, Priceless Promises, where she worked with other organizations with similar goals. That’s where “Look 2 Live” began before recently branching off into its own entity.
