Giant Sinkhole Opens Up in Central California Neighborhood


Police in Central California captured the moment a gigantic sinkhole opened up in a residential neighborhood Monday evening.

The police department in Madera, just outside Fresno, posted the 47-second video to its official Facebook page showing a large portion of the roadway collapsing.

Police said the road fell into a sewage line, creating a hole 15 to 20 feet deep.
