AOL’s Makers.com will live-stream session Wednesday, March 16

First lady Michelle Obama, in her keynote appearance at South by Southwest Music on Wednesday, will be joined by special guests Queen Latifah, Missy Elliott, Diane Warren and actress-activist Sophia Bush.

The event, which kicks off at 11 a.m. Central on March 16, will be available as a free live stream on AOL’s Makers.com women-empowerment website.

The First Lady is slated to discuss Let Girls Learn, an initiative she’s leading to encourage girls around the world to stay in school, in the session moderated by Queen Latifah. Her appearance comes after President Barack Obama delivered an unscripted keynote last Friday at the confab in Austin, Texas.

YouTube sensations Halle and Chloe Bailey will provide the opening music. The two sisters have been performing together since their cover of Beyoncé’s “Pretty Hurts” went viral in 2013. The duo are signed to Beyoncé’s management company, Parkwood Entertainment.
