When you’re airing seven hours of live television for five straight days, you’re bound to make at least one mistake, and that finally happened to the NFL Network on Saturday.
During coverage of the NFL combine, the network’s feed started to have some technical difficulties. The combine coverage was coming back from commercial around 11:50 a.m. ET when a hot mic caught host Chris Rose making fun of the Cleveland Browns.
The joke came just before North Dakota State quarterback Carson Wentz was about to run the 40-yard dash.
“Is the next former Browns quarterback about to hit the field?” Rose asked, believing that he was only talking to his fellow analysts.
Rose can definitely take a joke, and he showed it by making fun of himself on Twitter.
Is the Browns next former QB about to hit the field? #NFLCombine Justin kidding….(I hope).
