Tamar Braxton Says ‘Thank You Jesus’ After Surviving Pulmonary Embolism and Rib Removal Surgery to Return to Work

A larger-than-life reality TV star and singer, who has been in a major health crisis, is thank the Good Lord that the worst is over.

It was an emotional day on the set of the “The Real” as co-hosts welcomed back Tamar Braxton, who has been going through a serious health battle.

“Thank you Jesus” the Grammy-nominated R&B singer wrote on Instagram, glorifying God for surviving Pulmonary Embolism and getting back to work.

On Wednesday, Dec. 16, Braxton, 38, said, “#superblessed today is my first day back on #Thereal thank you Jesus,” adding, “#tamartianfriends prayers work.”

Lonnie Love, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon warmly shared how much Braxton was missed around the table.

Then, in a special video segment put together by “The Real,” show producers, never-before-revealed details of Braxton’s medical emergency were shared.

It all began Nov. 9, when the “Dancing with the Stars” contestant went to the ER with troubling symptoms, leading doctors to believe Braxton was suffering from pneumonia.
