Liberty University School of Law is ending 2015 on a very high note.
That’s because the Virginia-based law school boasted the best first-try bar pass rate in the state.
Making the law school a respected institution was the goal of its founder, Jerry Falwell, says Associate Dean Matt Barber.
According to Liberty Counsel founder Mat Staver, the Christian law school beat out “top, top tier” law schools in the commonwealth, including the University of Virginia that followed in second place.
Liberty showed a 93-percent passage rate, a turn-around from low first-time pass rates just a year before.
