You may not recognize his name, but that will soon change. Tim Bowman, Jr., son of smooth jazz guitarist Tim Bowman, nephew of Vickie Winans, cousin to that singing family we love, the Winans, wants you to know that he appreciates his musical journey so far.

Following the success of his debut album “Beautiful,” Bowman celebrates the release of I’m Good, his new hit single produced by Rodney Jerkins, Grammy® award winner and CEO of Lifestyle Music Group.

Bowman’s enthusiasm for the Gospel is infectious. “I am excited about my new music and talking about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I have the opportunity to really go hard and focus on being the kind of artist I really want to be. I’m making sure the music I’m singing conveys what I really want to say.”

A native of Detroit, Bowman began singing at the age of eight and he could not be prouder of his musical lineage. You can hear Tim’s considerable vocal talent on Vickie Winans’ “Shake Yourself Loose” and on the hit, “How I Got Over.”

“I realize how blessed I am to have my father who supports me and worked hard so that I could follow my dreams and my Aunt Vickie who has taught me so much. Fresh from his appearance at Baltimore’s Unity in the Community, Bowman got to experience first-hand the positive responses his music generated, a sound described as a “unique combination of music and message within both the mainstream and Christian genres.”
