WATCH: Romney and Holyfield Box for Charity

Former presidential candidate Mitt Romney, 68, stepped into the ring with former heavyweight champion Evander Holyfield Friday night for a bout that raised more than $1 million for CharityVision, a non-profit that helps people suffering from sight impairment. Romney weighed in at 179 pounds for the fight, making him 57 pounds lighter than Holyfield. Romney smothered Holyfield at the end of the first round, throwing a flurry of devastating blows.

Perhaps sensing that he needed a knockout to win, Romney dropped Holyfield with a right hand, but Holyfield was somehow able to continue.

With Holyfield chasing Romney around the ring later in the round, Romney’s corner threw in the towel, giving Holyfield the victory. Romney now joins an elite list of fighters who have lost to Holyfield that includes Mike Tyson and George Foreman.
