The star witness in Suge Knight’s murder case said Monday he won’t “snitch” on the founder of Death Row Records.
Cle “Bone” Sloan took the witness stand in Knight’s preliminary hearing and repeatedly said he couldn’t remember the series of events that ended with Knight hitting him and Terry Carter with his truck in a Compton, Calif., parking lot on Jan. 29.
Carter died from his injuries.
“I’ve been trying to forget the whole incident,” Sloan said after limping into court in a grey suit. “I just know I screwed up, and Terry’s dead.”
He previously told police he got physical with Knight, punching him through the window of Knight’s red Ford truck before Knight punched the gas.
The prosecutor asked him if he was intentionally withholding information because he didn’t want to be judged a snitch.
“I’m not a snitch,” Sloan said. “I will not be forced to tell on anybody.”
