Culture teaches abstinent women that, expecting a man to wait for marriage to have sex is unrealistic.
But that’s not true—something Tamera Mowry-Housley, Christian co-host of “The Real,” explained on the show.
“In college, I doubted myself a lot, because I was like, ‘Why don’t men like me?’” she told a 21-year-old young lady who had questions about sex. “But as I got older, it changes honey. Men don’t want women who sleep with anything and everything. I’m sorry.”
Although it is true that, if you offer premarital sex, many men will accept it without resistance, deep down, they appreciate a good girl.
For those unwilling to wait at your request, well, they are not worth your time anyway.
Mowry-Housley explained that, during her college years at Pepperdine University, a Christian institution, she learned, “There are many Christian men out there” willing to wait.
Some women, however, get sucked into the “I want a bad guy” trap.
Mowry-Housley told the audience, “You’ve got to give those Christian men a chance. A lot of times, my Christian guy friends are like, ‘Man, girls don’t want to give me a chance because all they want is a bad guy.’”
