“The Real” is apparently not a real draw for TV viewers.
Media sources report the Monday premiere of the syndicated talk show, featuring Tamar Braxton, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Bailon, kicked off with less than great start. Preliminary numbers reveal “The Real” attracted a disheartening 0.9 rating/3 share in primary run metered market averages.
Those numbers, which put the show 40 percent below its lead-in, also resulted in a 10 percent decrease compared to the shows it replaced in its time-slots this year. The disappointing numbers come amid a four-week test run for “The Real” on Fox-owned stations in a handful of markets.
