African American Film Critics Association to Honor Debra Martin Chase, Donna Langley, and Stephanie Allain

The African American Film Critics Association (AAFCA) announced several honors for its annual awards show, including Sparkle producer Debra Martin Chase; Universal Pictures chairwoman Donna Langley and Los Angeles Film Festival director Stephanie Allain.

Also receiving special honors at the Feb. 4 event will be The BlackList co-founder Franklin Leonard, who will receive its Special Achievement Award along with Langley and Allain.

Chase will receive the Ashley Boone Award, which is named after the late distribution exec and brother of Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences president Cheryl Boone Isaacs. 

The Los Angeles Times Susan King will receive the Roger Ebert Award at the event, which is held at the Taglyan Complex in Hollywood.
