Woman Fatally Shot and Killed in Wisconsin Tavern, Police Believe Suspect Is In Chicago

A 31-year-old woman was fatally shot in a Wisconsin tavern Saturday and police are searching for a suspect who may be in Chicago.

The shooting took place around 1:45 a.m. Saturday in a tavern in Kenosha in the 2400 block of 52nd Street.

Police said a man entered a tavern with a pistol and began shooting, striking a 31-year-old woman from Gurnee, Illinois.

The woman was transported to Kenosha Hospital and Medical Center where she was later pronounced dead.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 20s, roughly 6 feet tall with medium build.
