Nebraska Under Tornado Watch: Two Twisters Hit the Ground at the Same Tim

A stretch of Nebraska is under a tornado watch until late Monday evening, while there have been multiple reports of tornadoes touching down in the state.

Meteorologist Reed Timmer shared an image that appears to show two tornadoes on the ground simultaneously:

The biggest danger is in the northeast quadrant of the state, with the tornado threat also stretching into western Iowa. A tornado watch is in effect until 10 p.m. for a broad swath of the state, with the National Weather Service warning that several tornadoes (including some intense ones) are likely. In addition, NWS warns that large hail and brutal 70 mph wind gusts could be in store.
