A late addition to President Obama’s schedule in Rome: an interview with CBS News.

CBS anchor Scott Pelley will speak with Obama on Friday, before the president departs for Saudi Arabia on the final leg of his weeklong trip.

The network will air portions of the interview Friday on CBS This Morning and the CBS Evening News.

Obama’s Thursday schedule in the Eternal City included an audience with Pope Francis, meetings with Italian officials and a tour of the Colosseum.
