The furor over Comcast’s plan to buy Time Warner Cable could get more interesting as opponents appeal to MSNBC show hosts for support.

The Huffington Post reports that writers and producers with the Writers Guild of America-East at Peacock Productions are petitioning Rachel MaddowLawrence O’Donnell, the Rev. Al SharptonEd Schultz and Chris Hayes to speak out against the impending merger.
