Oprah Wants First Interview with Tiger Woods

oprah-145.jpgThe gossip site PopEater is reporting that "Oprah Winfrey has called Tiger Woods herself to offer him advice, comfort ... and the opportunity to tell his side of the ever-developing Tiger-gate drama on her couch."

"Matt Lauer, Barbara Walters and Larry King's people have all called, but only lady O has personally reached out," the source said.

Based on the latest developments, there will be much for Tiger to explain. The latest drama comes from his so-called mistresses: one who was reportedly ready to admit that she lied about denying any relationship with the golfer, and a new woman who has surfaced claiming she, too, was dating the athlete.

Last week, the National Enquirer reported that Tiger had been seeing New York nightclub hostess Rachel Uchitel, and that they recently were together in Melbourne, where Woods competed in the Australian Masters.

Uchitel spent about a week denying the story, but after a second woman, Jaimee Grubbs, came forward this week with text messages and a voicemail proving that she, too, was Tiger's mistress, Uchitel and her attorney announced they would hold a press conference Thursday - reportedly to state that Uchitel was indeed seeing Tiger -- and was lying when she denied having an affair.
