A black minister who founded a website called BlackGenocide.org charges
the Obama administration's health care reform legislation is designed
to increase the number of abortions in the African-American community.
"It's sinister, but President Obama has become the face of black genocide in America today," said Rev. Clenard H. Childress Jr., senior pastor of the New Calvary Baptist Church in Montclair, N.J.
According to Childress, about 35 percent of the nearly 4,500 abortions performed each day in the U.S. are on African-Americans, even though African-Americans are only about 13.5 percent of the population.
Childress said 52 percent of all African-American pregnancies end in abortion, and three out of every five African-American women will obtain an abortion.
He estimated16 million African-American babies have been aborted since the passage of Wade v. Roe in 1973.
Had the approximately 16 million African American babies aborted since the landmark Supreme Court decision been allowed to live, there likely would be more than 50 million African-Americans in the U.S. today. The last count, in 2007, was 40 million.
WND contacted Planned Parenthood and NARAL Pro-Choice America for comment and received no response by the publication deadline.

On March 30, 2001, Obama was the only Illinois senator who rose to speak against a bill that would have protected babies who survived late term labor-induced abortion. Many blacks knew this and voted for him anyway. Why? Because they are respecters of persons. Unfortunately, it is not the innocent unborn child that they respect, but the (black) president of the US who does not believe Jesus Christ to be the only way to God, and the president who has stated that Christians should stop telling people the Good News (because he doesn't believe it, not doubt). Church goers may stop and so-called Christians may stop (if they ever did in the first place), but true Christians who believe what Christ said about Himself will continue to tells other the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ alone. He is THE CHRIST, the son of THE LIVING GOD, who died for the sins of all.
Have to respect Childress for sticking to his guns. It would be good to note that private insurers already cover abortions, and that a health plan could reduce the number of abortions because of the availability of prenatal counsel and treatment.
The fact remains that justice for women generally parallels fewer abortions AND lower birth rates.
Why do we not hear about women's justice and its corollaries to reproductive health? The same reason we can leave people in prison without being DNA-tested for possible innocence: It's inexpedient politically.
You're putting your head in the sand for President Obama. You know the Truth. Why hide from it? Why hide from Him? It's not worth it. This life is too short. Live it for Jesus Christ, the One who gave His Life that you might live eternally and not die in your sins.

A health care bill that plans for even one abortion is a health care bill against God. A health care bill that counsels one unmarried male teen to wear a condom or one unmarried female teen to take birth control pills is a health care bill against God. God's standards are holy. He makes it clear in His Word how we are to live. God is in control, and He knows what is best for us. Yet, we continue to try to take on God's rule. Why, we don't trust Him. We think we can do it better than He can. So, what do we do? We do it our way. The ungodly way.

My mistake ... The last three words above should say, "The godless way." But, I'm pretty sure you know that.
Lorraine
Oops again: Ungodly = godless and role, not rule.

No head in the sand here. I'm just not easy to manipulate. The right does not own me, and I won't accept their strokes. You can find out about the so-called "black genocide" movement here:http://www.religiondispatches.org/archive/religiousright/1153/no_conspiracy_theories_needed%3A_antiabortion_foes_cry_racism/?page=entire
How true, but how sad. Neither can God's Word manipulate you.
God doesn't manipulate either. He doesn't make anyone believe the truth. It's up to each individual. You either believe His Word or you don't. Those who believe His Word, will tell others the truth, not put their heads in the sand, make excuses for Satan, or tell one of Satan's lies. Abortion is killing innocent humans. That's the truth.
You don't see havig an abortion as killing an innocent child??? Your head is buried deep.
Hummm...Let's see. I could go to "here:http://www.religiondispatches.org/archive/religiousright/1153/no_conspiracy_theories_needed%3A_antiabortion_foes_cry_racism/?page=entire" and believes man's opinion
or
I could read what God's Word.
