The Covenant Life Worship Center and its 25 members in Haslett, Michigan, had one of the second-prize tickets in the Lucky 7s raffle held on May 4.
The lottery website says the odds of a single $10 ticket winning $70 000 in Lucky 7s are one in 55 556. Lottery officials said the church would receive the full amount of the prize because it was a tax-exempt group.
Pastor Marilyn Parmelee said the prize money would go towards the church building fund, setting up a missionary fund and supporting local community service projects.

Interesting. Who bought the ticket? I am not judging because the money is going to a good cause. Are we supposed be like the world and play games of chance and not believe God for everything. He is Jehovah Jireh. The Bible gives gives us a plethora of events to encourage us that God will take care of us like He did for the children of Israel, providing manna, or even Matthew 6:25-34- "For your heavenly Father know that need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you."
I pray this money was God's answered prayer for them and may God bless them a hundred fold for trying to make a difference.
