Truth Trucks are in Chicago this week to make a point to doctors. Truth trucks drive around and feature pictures of aborted babies to teach the public what happens to a baby during an abortion.
Matt Trewhella of Missionaries to the Preborn is conducting the demonstration at the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists annual convention in Chicago.
"The organization itself has a pro-abortion position, and they also use much of their money to push pro-abortion legislation at the national and state levels," he explains. "So we're here to call upon the doctors to use their moral authority that they have in our culture for good rather than evil and to change their policy from pro-abortion to pro-life."
Trewhella notes a mixed reaction from the doctors. "We have many doctors who come up to us and thank us for being here -- many thumbs up from the busses going by with the doctors on them," he adds. "And then of course we have others who can't say enough rotten things to us."
