President Trump offered a cryptic response on Tuesday when asked about rising acts of anti-Semitism in the U.S. since his election — saying that “sometimes, it’s the reverse.”
The comments came during a meeting at the White House with states’ attorney generals, and the remark was reported by Pennsylvania AG Josh Shapiro, according to Buzzfeed.
“He just said ‘Sometimes it’s the reverse to make people — or to make others — look bad,” and he used the word ‘reverse’ two or three times in his comments,” Shapiro said.
