President Donald Trump met Wednesday with surviving victims of the Las Vegas shooting at University Medical Center in the city and hailed their heroism for trying to save others even as their own lives were in danger.
Trump also credited the bravery of law enforcement members and honored the professionalism of doctors and other medical staff for their response to the massacre.

President Trump and the first lady led a moment of silence on Monday afternoon on the White House South Lawn to honor the victims of the horrific Las Vegas mass shooting.
The president and Melania Trump walked from the White House with Vice President Pence and his wife Karen through a grim gauntlet of unsmiling staffers.
The four stood with their hands clasped before them, heads bowed and eyes closed before turning around and heading back inside.

President Trump addressed the nation on the mass shooting in Las Vegas which left 58 dead and over 580 injured.

Hundreds of our fellow citizens are now mourning the sudden loss of a loved one — a parent, a child, a brother or sister. We cannot fathom their pain. We cannot imagine their loss.
