If you love biscuits, this is a special day.
For National Buttermilk Biscuit Day, Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen is selling limited-edition heart-shaped biscuits in four cities: Chicago, Los Angeles, New Orleans, and New York.
The special “Love That” biscuits will be available in all regular meals, combos and platters while supplies last at participating locations in those markets.
Biscuits are a staple at Popeyes; the fast-food chicken chain has sold more than 292 million of them to date, the company says.
“For more than 40 years, our biscuits have been celebrated as a very beloved menu item,” says the fast-food chicken chain’s head chef Amy Alarcon in a statement. “With our buttermilk biscuits at the heart of our menu, it only made sense to celebrate with heart shaped biscuits on National Buttermilk Biscuit Day.”
