The two hateful masked attackers who clearly violated the civil rights and human rights of “Empire” actor, Jussie Smollett, by physically abusing him and putting a lynch noose around his neck, and bleach on him must be brought to justice ASAP. These two hateful masked attackers who verbally abused Smollett with racial slurs and more slurs regarding his relationship choices must be brought to justice ASAP.
We must not let this great injustice of present day discrimination just slide and go away as the next news cycle quickly comes around. Clearly I do not support the homosexual lifestyle. Yet I must stand against all forms of discrimination every time it it raises it’s ugly head. The racism, classism, and sexism of this current Trump era is literally out of control. Physically and verbally attacking and abusing anyone because you disagree with them is an extremely dangerous and destructive form of discrimination, pure, plain, and simple. HATE IS NOT THE ANSWER!!
Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world, did not embrace the gay lifestyle. Yet Jesus Christ with wholehearted compassion was crucified for ALL the sins of ALL hurting humanity. HATE IS NOT THE ANSWER!!! Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., America’s foremost civil rights leader, did not embrace the gay lifestyle. Yet with wholehearted compassion King clearly fought for and was assassinated for the human rights and civil rights of ALL hurting humanity. HATE IS NOT THE ANSWER!!! Following the example of the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Dr. King also worked with ALL who would work with him, and died for ALL, in terms of the just cause of civil and human rights. Even those King did not agree with on every single issue. HATE IS NOT THE ANSWER!!! We need each other. Physically and verbally attacking and abusing people that you disagree with on a particular issue is a blatantly illegal act of discrimination. This violent abusive type of behavior by these two masked attackers goes against ALL the teachings of Jesus Christ, and against ALL the tenants of the civil rights and human rights movement, HATE IS NOT THE ANSWER!!!
Beating up, bullying, and blacklisting people that you disagree with regarding an issue is evil, unjust, and illegal. We all need each other. Whether we realize it or not. We need each other even when we disagree with each other. More tolerance is drastically needed throughout the entire landscape of America. It is possible to disagree without discriminating. It is possible to care without compromising. HATE IS NOT THE ANSWER!!! Discrimination via Physical abuse, sexual abuse, verbal abuse, spiritual abuse, and mental abuse must not be tolerated!!! HATE IS NOT THE ANSWER!!!
