A Uber driver was bashed in the head with a brick when an irate passenger went on a rampage because he ordered an Uber Pool by mistake.
Driver Joseph Gonzalez picked up the suspect — along with a woman and two kids — in the Bronx at about 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, the driver told The Post.
But when the 51-year-old Gonzalez went to pick up another passenger, the man became irate.
“He ordered Uber Pool,” Gonzalez said. “He should have ordered Uber XL.”
Gonzalez said he offered to help the passenger, by canceling the pool and having him order again — but the man wasn’t satisfied.
“He didn’t want the other passenger to get in,” Gonzalez said. “Then he punched me in the back of the neck.”
The attacker eventually got out of the car and picked up a brick.
“He hit me right in the back of the head,” Gonzalez said.
When Gonzalez called 911, the man fled.
