Bishop Dale Bronner, pastor of Word of Faith Family Worship Cathedral in Austell, GA, was among the dozens of black pastors who met with President Trump to discuss prison reform at the White House last week. And, like many, he received a lot of criticism for attending the meeting.
Bronner, however, had an unusual way of addressing his critics. Unlike other pastors such as John Gray and Van Moody who offered reasoning as to why they chose to attend the meeting, Bronner appeared to threaten God’s judgment on his detractors from the pulpit this past Sunday.
“You know, there is a danger in touching God’s anointing,” he said. “I had to pray. I said, ‘Lord, forgive them for they know not what they do.'”
