President Donald Trump will meet with Queen Elizabeth when he visits Britain next month, according to a report on Wednesday.

Trump will see the Queen when he visits Great Britain on July 13, his first trip to the country since becoming president, Sky News reported.

US Ambassador to England Woody Johnson confirmed the visit when he was asked if Trump’s itinerary would include an audience with the Queen.

“Yes, yes, I mean he has to see the head of state. Putting his foot on British soil, it’s job one, it’s very important, very symbolic,” Johnson, the owner of the New York Jets, told the publication.

“Meeting Her Majesty is the most important thing, because she’s the head of state, and from then on, it’ll be what the president wants to do,” he added.

The report said the meeting could happen at Windsor Castle because it will be closed to the public on July 13.
