An Iraqi refugee in France is facing war crimes charges amid allegations he served as an ISIS executioner and helped slaughter hundreds of Iraqi air force cadets. The suspect, identified only as Ahmed H-M, was arrested in a dramatic raid in Normandy in March that had not been previously reported, according to The Telegraph. He’d first reached France in 2015 and was later granted political asylum, but Interpol tracked him down after his former cellmate from Iraq identified him as an ISIS fighter. He was also allegedly involved in the terrorist group’s massacre of more than 1,500 unarmed Iraqi air force cadets in Tikrit in 2014. In addition to war crimes, he now faces charges of murder and terrorism in France.
