His departure from House of Hope Macon has not been officially announced. The Obnoxious Television report indicates that it stems from Pastor Sharpe’s desire “to grow and take on other opportunities, which did not seem to be possible in Macon.”

The site also says Pastor E. Dewey Smith may already have a successor to Sharpe — Pastor James Earl Cray of Empact Church in Hazelton, GA.
