Finishing Up, by Daniel D.P. Whyte IV with Danyel Ezekiel Whyte

I believe that the Lord is really working in your heart and life right now. Let me share with you here some final thoughts before we move on to other things:

1. Before He left this earth, Jesus Christ said: “But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you” (John 14:26). I just want to tell you that the Holy Spirit [Ghost] is here to help you, and to guide you throughout this life. Ask God to fill you with His Holy Spirit every day, and you let the Holy Spirit lead you, and help you to make the right decisions.

2. This one is about your conscience. Your conscience is that little voice on the inside of you that says, “Don’t do that, don’t do that” when you get ready to do something wrong. (On the other hand, that little voice that always says, “On second thought…” is normally the devil’s.) In trivial situations, it may be hard to identify your conscience (that little voice that tells you the right thing to do), but I have learned that it is almost always the first voice that comes to mind.

Well, that’s it–for now,

“A Christian is a person who is right-side up in an upside-down world.”
