How to Make Cloud Eggs
Every so often there’s a new food trend that grabs attention online. The latest of these crazes is that of cloud eggs and it seems people are going mad for them on Instagram.
Though they may look difficult to make, these fluffily little beauties are much easier than you might think.
All you actually need to do is first separate the egg white from the yolk. The egg white is then whipped, just like making a meringue but without the sugar. Add this to a baking tray, make sure you put a small hole in the middle for the yolk to sit in later, and bake in the oven at around 230°C for five minutes.
Once baked, add the yolk to the middle and cook for a few more minutes until ready. It’s that simple, you can also fold extras into the whipped egg whites, think cheese, ham, bacon.
