Sean Hannity says he ‘Showed’ his ‘Unloaded’ Gun to Juan Williams After CNN Report Claims he Threatened him While They Were Arguing; Williams says he ‘Was Never in Harm’s Way’

Resident Fox News hothead Sean Hannity apparently packs heat on set.

The longtime conservative anchor once pointed a gun and its laser sight at colleague Juan Williams, according to a CNN report Thursday.

Sources told the network that the incident occurred after a segment where he and Williams were arguing.

It was not immediately clear where Hannity had the gun before pulling it out.

Hannity told the Daily News in a statement that he had been discussing guns, and “showed my good friend Juan Williams my unloaded firearm in a professional and safe manner for educational purposes only.”

“Any other interpretation of this is outright false reporting,” he added.

Hannity, 55, said he has been training with guns since he was 11 and has carry licenses in five states, including New York.

Echoing President Trump’s rhetoric, Hannity blasted CNN as “fake news” over Twitter.

Hannity also denied ever pointing a gun at Williams, tweeting, “Let’s be clear. Unloaded. Never pointed. I have been a gun safety advocate for years.”

Williams, on the other hand, didn’t outright deny that the incident occurred, but claimed it was being “sensationalized.”

“Everything was under total control throughout and I never felt like I was put in harm’s way,” Williams said in a statement to The News. “It was clear that Sean put my safety and security above all else and we continue to be great friends.”

Fox News echoed Williams’ comments in a statement, claiming that “no one was put in any danger.”

Hannity’s appreciation of firearms fits with his dislike of gun control measures, repeatedly criticizing calls for new legislation after mass shootings.

However, Hannity also criticized rapper Snoop Dogg earlier this week, saying he had “hit a new low” after pointing a fake “bang” flag at a clown version of President Trump.
