More than dreams were snagged in dreamcatchers seized Sunday afternoon at the Columbus, N.M., border crossing, U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials said.
CBP officers found 1.6 pounds of liquid methamphetamine inside the hoops of the Native American-style artwork, which was in a car arriving from Mexico, officials said.
A drug-sniffing dog alerted officers to six dreamcatchers, which were made with rubber tubes that contained the liquid meth, officials said.
