Pastor Ronald Wilson is usually giving sermons Sunday mornings, but not Super Bowl Sunday. His congregation at Kingdom Vision Life Center in Greensboro surprised him with an all-expenses paid trip to the Super Bowl!

“Usually, I’m a man of words,” Pastor Wilson said. “I had none.”

His congregation of about 75 people chipped in thousands of dollars in just a few days, to make their beloved pastor’s dream come true.

“It’s always been a dream of mine to go to a game, period. But we’re talking about the Super Bowl!” Pastor Wilson said.

Rachel Wilson, Ronald’s wife, says she asked the congregation to chip in to help make her husband’s wish a reality.

“He devotes his life to helping others and this ministry as a whole,” Rachel Wilson said. “And this is just the perfect way to show our appreciation and say thank you.”

Pastor Wilson says his congregation’s gesture has left him speechless.

“Sometimes you feel like the things you teach and the things you preach are going over people’s heads and they are not getting it,” Pastor Wilson explained. “This shows that the people have received the word throughout the years.”
