Andraé Crouch Funeral: Bishop Kenneth Ulmer to Officiate, Pastor Marvin Winans to Eulogize, Host of Gospel Artists to Perform; BET Will Stream Services Live
Funeral services for Andraé Crouch will be held Tuesday, Jan. 20, and Wednesday, Jan. 21, and will include appearances and performances by Rev. Jesse Jackson, Yolanda Adams, Shirley Caesar, and many others, a rep for the late singer announced Friday.
The celebration events will be held at the West Angeles Church of God In Christ in Los Angeles and will be live streamed on the BET website, as well as the church’s site.
The Tuesday event includes a viewing from 2-5 p.m. PST with a tribute celebration scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday’s schedule starts with a viewing from 9-10 a.m., followed by a celebration of life at 11 a.m.
The seven-time Grammy winning gospel singer’s funeral will be officiated by Bishop Kenneth Ulmer, with a eulogy by Pastor Marvin Winans. A press release said an all-star band has been assembled as well, including an 80-voice choir.
