Ground-breaking former model and restaurateur B. Smith, who had been missing for nearly 14 hours, was found safe at a Manhattan diner.

Police in the village of Sag Harbor, where Smith lives, said she was found around 2 p.m. Wednesday by her daughter, near her old apartment in New York City.

The 65-year-old has Alzheimer’s disease.

She was seen getting on a jitney bus on Tuesday afternoon, but she never arrived in Southampton as expected around 7:30 p.m. Her daughter spoke with the driver who said Smith got off at the Sag Harbor stop.

Friends told Eyewitness News that Smith apparently got back onto the jitney and returned to the City.
