In the latest edition of The Church of God in Christ’s eMagazine, the denomination honored its 100 most influential pastors of 2014.

April E. Quillen, the Editor of The Whole Truth, wrote the following in the publication:

This month, we celebrate a group of beloved pastors who are exceptionally impacting and influencing their church families and communities — our 2014 I00 Influential Pastors. We also salute and commend the 7 prominent pastors whom we’ve proudly deemed as Pastors You Need to Know. Congratulations to all of the Well-deserving honorees!

The response to the 100 Infuential Pastors call for nominations was completely overwhelming and we graciously thank every person who took the time to submit a nomination for their esteemed pastor. The outpouring of love and appreciation for these servants of God is to be commended. We abundantly thank the chairman of this feat, Elder David George Newsome, and the entire selection committee, who tirelessly worked to meticulously select the honorees. I know that they were increasingly encouraged and inspired with the review of each entry.
