Memphis TV Talk Show Host, Thaddeus Matthews, Goes on Record (Visually and Audibly) Accusing Pastor Frank Ray of Raping Two Daughters of a Parishioner According to “Court Documents”; Calls Ray a ‘Devil From Hell’ — ‘I Have No Fear of You, Frank Ray’ (Warning: Extremely Foul Language – Children Should Not Watch Video)

Note: God requires pastors to live above reproach. 1 Timothy 3:2-5 states, “A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behaviour, given to hospitality, apt to teach; Not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre; but patient, not a brawler, not covetous; One that ruleth well his own house, having his children in subjection with all gravity; (For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)” Dear Pastor, you would never want another person, much less a television talk show host, saying the things Mr. Thaddeus Matthews has said about Rev. Frank Ray.

A television talk show host from Memphis, Tennessee, by the name of Thaddeus Matthews, recently reported that he had been served a restraining order by Pastor Frank Ray over statements he made alleging that Pastor Ray raped two daughters of a church member. Matthews questioned why he was allowed to continue on as pastor and produced a video sharing his thoughts about the situation.

Several scandals have engulfed Pastor Frank Ray over the years, most notably his alleged attempt to run over one of his former wives, as well as a fight that broke out in the church between his wife and a church member.

If any of the stories that he is being accused of in this video and in other publications are true, even though we love Pastor Ray and believe that he is one of the best pulpiteers in the nation, we at BCNN1.com would respectfully encourage Pastor Ray to step down from his position as pastor as a way of honoring God and His Word, for the church’s sake, and for his family’s sake. Allow us to say here, because this is happening across the country, it is one thing when religious folk and church folk start talking about you, but when the world, people who are not necessarily in the church, or saved, or religious, start demanding that you step down because of your bad behaviour and multiple marriages, etc., it would be wise to go ahead and step aside, and let a proven young man of God who does not have that baggage come in and carry on the work for the glory of God.

Additionally, we want to say again here that many of these moral pastoral fires can be put out if a respected, wise elder pastor and/or bishop would come alongside in a crisis like this, and publicly say, even on this man’s television show, if necessary, ‘I know this pastor. I’ve eaten dinner with this pastor. I’ve preached with this pastor at conferences. I know he is not a perfect man, neither am I, and neither are you. Yes, he has committed some sins and made some mistakes, and we have talked with him about that. We are working with him to help him get where he needs to be and do what he needs to do. If you do not mind, please give the outside pastors and bishops time to help him resolve these issues. And what we need for you to do right now is to stand down with all of these accusations because it is hurting the church as a whole, not just him.’

Is the reason why elder pastors and bishops are not coming forward publicly to help resolve such issues because they have skeletons in their closets that they don’t want to start rattling or coming out?

Please note that the video contains foul language, therefore, we cannot in good conscience show it on BCNN1.com. However, if you want to see it, you may watch it on Youtube here.
